 Dara Greenidge, Class of 2004

A big part of our mission of catholic education at Saint Lawrence School is a goal of “Shaping the Leaders of Tomorrow”. One of our dedicated successful Alumna Dara Greenidge, class of 2004 has achieved that goal.

Dara graduated from Saint Lawrence School in 2004 and went on to catholic high school at Sacred Heart Academy and Providence College in the Dominican Tradition. Dara completed her advanced Degree at NYU and the Teach America Program.

We were honored to have Dara, her mother Gloria, and grandmother Ernestine Glover attend this year’s Easter Fair and Bunny Brunch.   Joseph Lakaj of the 8th grade class interviewed her to share her story with the school community.

Joseph asked Dara several questions, to the question “What did you like best about SLS and the journey of catholic education?” Dara respond “that it gave her a strong foundation”. To her next interview question Joseph asked Dara “What is your current profession or work area?” Dara stated “she is an Assistant principal in New York and loves teaching and education”.

Joseph summed up the interview by asking Dara “At SLS one of our goals is shaping the leaders of tomorrow. How have we shaped you in your position?” Dara respond “that the Sisters and teachers pushed her and classmates to be and do their best in the Gospel values”.

Thank you Dara, for being an outstanding graduate of Saint Lawrence School and attending our Easter Celebration.
